The Brashear/Novinger baseball co-op team hosted North Shelby Thursday. North Shelby got on the scoreboard first with a single run, but the Tigers did their scoring later in the game for a 4-1 win. Riley Whitlow and Koenn Stewert had 2 hits each with Bailyn Halley, John Higgins, and Cade Erwin also having hits. Cole Erwin got the start, going 6 innings and striking out 13. Baylin Halley came on in the 7th retiring 3 in a row with 2 strikeouts to nail down the win.
